What is the Financial Planning Association?

The Financial Planning Association® (FPA®) is the leadership and advocacy organization connecting those who provide, support and benefit from professional financial planning. FPA demonstrates and supports a professional commitment to education and a client centered financial planning process. Based in Denver, Colorado, and with an additional office in Washington, D.C., FPA has more than 100 chapters throughout the country representing more than 28,500 members involved in all facets of providing financial planning services.


What is the Financial Planning Association of Central Pennsylvania?

FPA of Central PA is a chapter of the National Financial Planning Association.  Here in Central Pennsylvania we have over 215 active FPA members. FPA connects those who need, support and deliver financial planning. We believe that everyone is entitled to objective advice from a competent, ethical financial planner to make smart financial decisions. FPA members demonstrate and support a professional commitment to education and a client-centered financial planning process.

What is a CFP® Professional?

A CFP® professional is an individual who has a demonstrated level of financial planning technical knowledge, experience in the field and holds to a client-centered code of ethics.
